The Regulative Principle

This is one in my continued series of messages on the Second Commandment, and deals with what has historically been called the Regulative Principle.  This is the doctrine that nothing should be permitted in our worship of God for which we do not have a commandment or precedent on the holy scriptures.  In this message, I attempt to state the doctrine, and then give several examples from both testaments to prove that the regulative principle is indeed the biblical teaching, and one that ought to be very scrupulously practiced by every Bible-believing church.
