This is my sermon from Wednesday, August the 6th, covering John 6:41-44. The Jews, like their forefathers in the wilderness, murmured against Christ, Who had proclaimed Himself to be the bread of life. But our Lord warns them not to murmur, and informs them the reason why they could not come to Him: no man can come, unless he be drawn of the Father. This is one of the critical verses in the Bible for proving that it is God’s will, not man’s, which is sovereign in the realm of salvation.
