Wisdom on Boston From Ron Paul

As I listened to, and then watched, the unfolding events in Boston a couple of weeks ago, my thoughts were very parallel to those Ron Paul expresses in this column.  I also got something of an ironic half chuckle the day after the wounded terrorist was captured, when the whole city of Boston came out to boast about how strong, unconquerable, and resilient they are; this after cowering in their homes, shutting down businesses, and canceling ball games because of one man.  One can argue that the people accepted these police state methods willingly, as is true, but it is also true that those who trade their liberties and constitutional rights for a little temporary security will, in the end, have neither.
