The Great Blessedness of the Godly Man

This message was preached at a Bible Conference held by Particular Baptist Fellowship of Mendenhall, Mississippi (Pastor Thomas Floyd).  This is the first part of an exposition of Psalm 1, covering the first three verses.  This passage describes the godly man, first by informing us of who and what he avoids (sinners, the ungodly, the scornful), then showing his character (he delights in the law of the Lord and meditates on it constantly), and then finally shows the great blessedness of his condition (he is like a tree planted by the rivers of God’s grace, who will bear fruit in due season).
